| Description | With Brandung, Coltaine create an emotional sonic journey where psychedelic doom, post-rock and post-metal merge into a cinematic atmosphere. Centered around the imagery of the sea, the album explores the contrast between a raging surface and the calmness of the depths. Acoustic guitars, powerful electric passages and Julia’s fragile, expressive vocals combine into a hypnotic experience filled with melancholy, longing and hope. Brandung balances heaviness and beauty, chaos and serenity, revealing Coltaine’s ability to create deeply immersive and moving music. |
