Spirit Caravan is an American stoner rock band led by Scott "Wino" Weinrich, one of the most influential figures in doom and stoner rock. Formed following the breakup of The Obsessed, the band quickly became a key part of the emerging desert rock and stoner rock scene of the late 1990s.

Dreamwheel was originally released in 1999, shortly after the band''s debut album Jug Fulla Sun. The EP features five tracks that capture Spirit Caravan as they refined their signature sound, combining heavy blues-influenced riffs, psychedelic elements, and classic American hard rock.
