Description Eddie "Son" House was one of the most influential artists in Delta Blues and is widely regarded as an important precursor to both Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters. After making a series of classic blues recordings during the 1930s and 1940s, he was rediscovered during the blues revival of the 1960s, leading to the legendary recordings made in 1965.

This 2CD edition collects the complete Father Of The Delta Blues sessions from 1965, including alternate takes and additional material. Featured tracks include the blues classics Death Letter Blues, John The Revelator, Preachin'' Blues, and Grinnin'' In Your Face.
