Description Reissue. Týr''s debut album How "Far to Asgaard" (2002) is often overlooked compared with later classics like Eric the Red and Ragnarok. Its music is less progressive and closer to traditional ''80s epic/doom metal, with mostly mid-tempo songs. The album blends Norse mythology and Faroese folklore with influences from Faroese folk music. "Hail to the Hammer" stands out as a catchy, memorable early hit. Overall, it is a strong and worthwhile debut. 2 LP Clear Vinyl.
