Description Reissue. Coroner''s debut album R.I.P. was released in June 1987 after the band signed with Noise Records. With bassist Ron Royce taking over lead vocals, the band evolved from traditional dark metal into a more progressive thrash metal style, establishing a distinctive musical identity. Recorded at Music Lab Studios in Berlin with producer Harris Johns, the album received strong critical acclaim. The standout track was "Reborn Through Hate", while four of the twelve songs were instrumentals that highlighted the band''s technical musicianship. Black Vinyl LP.
