Description | Baltimore alternative rockers Pinkshift, inspired by 90s grunge, 2000s pop-punk, riot grrl, punk rock and post-hardcore. Recorded by singer Ashrita Kumar, guitarist Paul Vallejo and drummer Myron Houngbedji, Earthkeeper'' is conceptually charged and warns. We are living in the mass surveillance state, where they are watching you. They are watching everything you do. They know where you live, they know who you talk to, they know what you like they know what you look like. You better not slip up. After more than two years of relentless touring alongside bands like Mannequin Pussy, PUP, The Linda Lindas, Jigsaw Youth, Pussy Riot and Origami Angel, Pinkshift are no longer the same people they were when they released their debut Love Me Forever in 2022. They have grown, matured and changed through their experiences. Pinkshift stand for unity, collectivity, community and action, but most importantly, the Maryland trio hopes their new songs will also have a more personal, emotional resonance. |
