| Description | Fleurety, formed in Ytre Enebakk, Norway in 1991, pioneered an experimental and genre-defying approach to black metal, blending diverse influences with unconventional riffing. The duo of Alexander Nordgaren and Svein Egil "Zweizz" Hatlevik gained recognition with the debut Min Tid Skal Komme (1995), a dark and introspective journey. The 1999 EP Last Minute Lies showcased their eccentric avantgarde style ahead of Department of Apocalyptic Affairs. This special release also includes the rare 1996 project I Left the Planet, a poetic jazzy-metal anomaly featuring Carl-Michael Eide, further cementing Fleurety''s reputation as innovators.
