| Description | With an initial line up of trumpeter Randy Brecker, Mike Mandel on piano and synthesisers, bassist Danny Trifan and drummer Alphonse Mouzon, the group toured extensively and released four albums before disbanding in 1976. The recording featured on this CD, broadcast live by WBCN-FM across the greater-Boston area on 4th December 1973, took place just a few months before the release of Introducing Eleventh House with Larry Coryell. With an unprecedented audio quality, surpassed only by the sheer talent and technical ability displayed, this recording quite simply has to be heard to be believed. |
