Taking up where Rock n riot left off; 01.05.1886 are the natural continuation of the 2nd album. The title really says it all; 01.05.1886. The date itself are from when the Haymarker massacre took place where five anarchists where sentenced to death for throwing a bomb into a crowd of people. All of them where innocent. Although this was a long time ago, 140 years to be exact, the situation are basicly the same today. If you have an opinion about society that’s not really applied in today’s society, you still will be sentenced for your thoughts. The CD comes in a digipack and with a massive booklet; 44 pages in length.This record contains three re-recordings: Drakar (Gränslösa land 7); Världens vackraste brott (Split 10 w/ Gotcha); Ett folk har rest sig (initially to be released on Rock n riot). Eleven songs sheer anarkapunk attack to those in power. Power to the people! |
