| Description | In March ''85, recording third studio album, Vaughan became increasingly frustrated with his own lack of inspiration. Released on September 30, 1985, Soul to Soul. Shortly before the album''s release, over Labour Day weekend (30th August - 2nd September), that year''s Bumbershoot Festival took place. SRV performed on the evening of 1st September, and despite the difficulties experienced during its recording, 9 of the 10 tracks from Soul To Soul were played, alongside another 7 songs from earlier albums, cover versions and - at the time - unreleased rarities. Bonnie Raitt, who was also performing at the festival in her own right, joined Stevie for his final two numbers, CD now features the entire, dynamic set performed by Stevie Ray Vaughn. |
