Originally released in 1993, The Ethereal Mirror the classic second album from British Doom Metallers Cathedral. Cathedral formed in the early 90’s, bringing together Lee Dorrian (vocals, ex-Napalm Death) and Garry ‘Gaz’ Jennings (ex-Acid Reign). In a move that shocked fans, Dorrian went from the world’s fastest band to arguably the slowest, First time this has ever been reissued on vinyl. Cathedral have been credited with leading a resurgence of interest in the Doom Metal scene, previously a very underground phenomenon using early Black Sabbath and occult 70’s rock as its blueprint.
