| Description | The band name Fjorden Baby! originates from an expression in a socially realistic prose text written by the poet "Toggi" from Loddefjord. The band plays experimental rock in Norwegian. Genre mixes are a central part of the music, where parallels have been drawn to punk and new-wave such as The Clash, The Very Worst and Talking Heads. Other parallels are the "Manchester sound" of the 80''s a''la Happy Mondays, New Order and The Stone Roses. In 2009, the band''s self-titled debut album was released, with ten songs recorded in Duper Studio with Yngve Sætre as producer. Vinyl LP. |
