| Description | The story of The LoveCrave was born amongst the metropolitan ashes of the big city, Milan united with the ancient and silent atmosphere of Venice. The band is formed of two experienced rock musicians from Milan and two old, good friends that moved to Milan to make music. The mix of sounds is an explosive magic potion and The LoveCrave realized it right away when they played together for the first time. What The LoveCrave were looking for during the recordings was a rough, elegant and new sound at the same time, taking inspiration also from Iron Maiden and eighties sound to the Depeche Mode, curing every detail but trying to leave that instinctive and rough edge untouched. They create in their mind a sort of Blade Runner world and try to put music in it. All this can be found on their 2006 debut "The Angel and the Rain". "The Angel and the Rain" caught the interest of the European media in short time. Supported by the main magazines (Hard, Metal Maniac, Zillo, Sonic Seducer…) and big rock/metal radios The LoveCrave left for a German tour with Canadian The Birthday Massacre, played as headliners at the famous Camden Underworld in London UK, recorded 4 acoustic tracks for Total Rock Radio in London, played as headliners at the Alcatraz, the biggest club in Milan, Italy and built a very solid fan base. In November 2007 the band won an award as Best Italian Band on International Ground at the MEI (Independent Labels Meeting) presented by the Italien music magazine Rock Sound. The roughness of rock mixed with a modern kind of electronic create the magic behind the sharp punk rock vein in Francesca''s voice that is totally different from all the other female singers voices and the killer songwriting of a band made of real musicians make the difference. The LoveCrave are ready for the burst with their new songs and for more tours and festivals in 2010 and 2011. The LoveCrave are definitely back. After the release of their brand new album "SOUL SALIVA", a masterpiece of original modern rock with great personality and awesome songwriting, they now present an enhanced EP called "Crisalide". 11 tracks plus a quicktime movie of the video-clip "Trhiller! A real must in your CD collection. |
