Description Formed in 1968 by Richie Furay, Jim Messina and Rusty Young, following the demise of Buffalo Springfield, Poco was part of the first wave of the West Coast country rock groups. On 13th February ''72 they performed at Amsterdam''s Concertgebouw, where they put on a dynamic show which was broadcast across continental European FM radio, and synched too back in the US on a number of stations. A couple of weeks before the Netherlands show, they performed on the BBC''s Old Grey Whistle Test, for which they played two tracks, transmitted on February 1st ''72.
