| Description | The Art of Lying is an emotional progression from the debut album Architecture. The former a synth-led throb and the latter a fuzzed-out stomper made for stadiums. Frontman Adam Houghton’s baritone vocals remain a cornerstone of the album, again coupled with driving drums beats and careering baselines. Written and recorded throughout 2020’s multiple lockdowns, a period bereft of live shows due to the global pandemic. It still retains their distinct and direct sound, but it''s bigger and bolder than before. The cover for the album features the Eye of Shinjuku, found in a Tokyo train station.
