| Description | The pop/rock band WINDYMILLS from Gothenburg, Sweden, will release their debut album "Big Mean Reality" on Preachers Cath Records. "Big Mean Reality" is a very strong yet very dynamic debut album, blending soft pop and ballad rock with jazz and even country. It is both a little morose and hopeful, which indicates the seriousness of its title Windymills was formed in 2010 by vocalist/guitarist Nick Holmquist along with a group of metal-, electro- och experiment- musicians. The farthest limits of experimental innovation was reached when the project turned into a "normal" line-up of musicians playing "normal" music. Members came and went, which led to a kind of temporary line-up of excellent music performers, both live and in the studio. WINDYMILLS started the demo sessions in the early summer of 2011 and the outcome made them realize that their skills were more than enough to finalize an entire album. |
