JIRM will make an impact on you in the same way with their second album Bloom; an innovative and highly personal take on the psychedelic rock and the very use of its many components and elements. As the indicating seriousness of the first line of the opening track reveals; "It''s not a joke this time. I''m leaving reality for sure". Formed in 2004 by Micke Backendal and Karl Apelmo, the constellation including Henke Persson and Viktor Källgren have been around since 2007. Released their first album "Elefanta" in 2009. Second album "Bloom" in 2011. Third album "Spirit Knife" in 2014. Fourth album "Surge Ex Monumentis" in 2018. With the latest album, the band saw a name change to the more convenient JIRM. 2021 marks the 10th year anniversary of "Bloom".
