| Description | While love songs dating from the late 1950s and early 1960s have rarely been as popular as they are today, when the same hits from yesteryear again and again clog up compilation CDs and achieve heavy rotation on oldies stations, the thrill of the groove, the comforting appeal and nostalgic allure become diluted and ultimately lost - no matter how well crafted such compositions are. This two disc set disposes of the familiar, the overplayed and the downright grating to present a collection of lost classics from the same era and genre as their more familiar cousins, but featuring songs as it does that will often be heard by the listener for the first time, presents this classic era of songwriting under a completely different light.
