To capitalise on the success of The Distance, Bob and his Silver Bullet Band embarked on a tour that would see them play in excess of 70 dates across North America in 1983. Towards the end of this jaunt, the band appeared at the 15,000-seater Hartford Civic Center in Connecticut on 28th December. The entire show was broadcast nationally over FM radio and it is this recording which is featured here on CD for the first time. Performing a rich selection of old favourites and newer numbers - including ''Turn The Page'', ''Ramblin'' Gamblin'' Man'' and ''Makin'' Thunderbirds'' - this set is a prime example of this extraordinary performer at his dynamic best. |
