| Description | Formed in 1978, Wrathchild America became known for their intense live shows and a unique sound blending thrash and traditional metal. Signed to Atlantic in 1988, they released Climbin’ The Walls in 1989, praised for its energy and a standout cover of Pink Floyd’s Time. Their 1991 follow-up 3-D added progressive and jazz elements, surprising critics. After being dropped, the band evolved into Souls At Zero. Members later found success in other major acts.
