| Description | Reissue. Risk was a German Thrash/Speed Metal band from Witten active between 1987-1993. Originally known as Faithful Breath, they changed name and style in 1986. Their first four albums featured distinctive animal cartoon artwork by Sebastian Krüger. Led by Heimi Mikus and Romme Keymer, Risk released five albums and one EP, starting with The Daily Horror News in 1988. Their 1990 album Dirty Surfaces sold 25,000 copies, and they toured with Manowar, Rage, and Sabbat. Known for aggressive sound, sharp guitars, and rich vocal work, Risk became a staple of German metal. Green Vinyl LP. |
