Description | Fickle Pickle was formed in a North-West London-based studio band active in the early 1970s, comprising producers, engineers, and session musicians. The lineup featured Cliff Wade (lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass), Geoff Gill (drums) from The Smoke, Wil Malone (piano, organ, electric piano) from Orange Bicycle, and Steve Howden (lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass) from Red Dirt. All members contributed vocals. In 1970, they released the album Sinful Skinful that showcased their ability to blend melodic pop with psychedelic influences. Notably, their cover of Paul McCartney''s "Maybe I''m Amazed" gained attention, especially since McCartney had not released it as a single. This comprehensive 3 CD box set titled Discography - A Complete Pickle, featuring the original album, non-LP singles, and numerous unreleased tracks, provides an extensive overview of the band''s work. Booklet with rare photos + extensive sleeve notes about the band. Mastered from original tapes. 3 CD. |
