| Description | Nordgeist were conceived in the Siberian city of Bratsk in the Irkutsk Oblast at the junction of the rivers Oka and the mighty Angara. This territory once belonged to the nomadic Buryat people, who are related to the Mongolians and renowned for their close relationship to nature. Bratsk lies in the subarctic climate zone, which results in dark, long cold winter. T, the mysterious mastermind and musician, her approach to black metal is obviously shaped by the Nordic scene, with which T''s music shares a penchant for majestic melodies and cineastic soundscapes.
