Description The year before the McGuinn, Hillman & Clarke album appeared in 1978, the three original Byrds after which that record was named, gathered at London''s Hammersmith Odeon for a Byrds reunion of sorts, when each participant led their respective 1977 bands for a set-a-piece program, followed by a menage a trois of a much expected and well delivered three track encore, a taster for the following year''s MCH album and tour. Roger was working with Thunderbyrd at this juncture, formed the year before when the band''s self-titled debut was recorded by McGuinn, Rick Vito, Greg Thomas and Charlie Harrison, and indeed it was this collective who rolled up at West London''s (then) favourite venue for the performance now available on this CD. Recorded for live FM Broadcast both in the UK and across the US, this superb quality audio delight is available here for the first time.
