Description Diamond Head is an influential British heavy metal band formed in 1976 in Stourbridge, England. They are considered one of the pioneering bands of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) movement, which also included bands like Iron Maiden, Saxon, and Def Leppard. Diamond Head is best known for their album Lightning to the Nations, which featured tracks that became classics of the genre. Some of their most famous songs include "Am I Evil?" "Helpless," both featured on this album, were later covered by Metallica, helping to further cement Diamond Head''s influence on the thrash metal scene. Recorded live at The London, Astoria, 4th November 2005. Mixed & Mastered by Roger Lomas. Photos taken on the night by Tabatha Fireman. Yellow Vinyl LP, including a bonus CD of the full concert.
