| Description | In what seems like a lifetime ago Danish singer/songwriter Torben Schmidt was the vocalist, songwriter and mastermind behind the successful Danish melodic rockband Skagarack. The band enjoyed a healthy career, including 3 albums, many Tours, and a Grammy win, but as the Nineties rolled around, front man Torben Schmidt put the band on hold to release his critically acclaimed solo debut, ''A Bit On The Side''. Skagarack recorded one more album before the band split. Torben has since then concentrated on his Record label (TSP-Thunderstruck Productions) and worked behind the scenes. States Torben... "But the one thing that never left me was the passion for writing songs, I just can''t help it, there is always a song in the back of my mind.'' Friends and fans have asked me many times over the years, if and when I would release a new album, so finally about three years ago I actually started to record a bunch of my song ideas, whenever I had the time and here it is: "Long Story Short".
