| Description | Quadro Nuevo has been touring countries around the world for 30 years and has become one of the most successful ensembles on the European jazz and world music scene. Now their debut album Luna Rossa is being released as a remastered double vinyl and includes 7 additional bonus tracks. Quadro Nuevo was founded in 1996. On a gray January day that year, four young men met for the first time in a parking lot near the Austrian city of Salzburg, famous for Mozart. The four hardly knew each other beforehand and were supposed to record film music for ORF television. The fee for this was subsequently squandered at the local casino, and the film was never broadcast. On that day, however, one thing was clear: A new quartet with an unmistakable sound was born. From then on, there would only be one thing – Quadro Nuevo, a love of nostalgic acoustic music, and traveling together from evening to evening, from stage to stage. A dream came true, and the exuberance of happiness can be heard in every note. Since then, these spirited, passionate musicians have toured countries around the world and given around 4,500 concerts.
