Description Prince''s 28th studio album, Musicology, In the wake of the album''s release, Prince and his ever growing NPG entourage played what was billed, ''The Musicology Release Party'' at Webster Hall in New York on the very day the record hit the shops, to an invite-only audience. Featuring a five song solo-acoustic set plus full band performances of cuts from the new album , the entire affair was recorded for live TV broadcast on MTV and VH1. A few weeks before this extraordinary event, Prince and NPG performed at San Francisco''s Fillmore venue on 16th February, and tracks from this earlier show are also included here as bonus cuts.
