Description | The new album of German Rock band DOMINOE, Naked But Dressed, includes 14 brand new rock songs. As always, this band perfectly combines fresh, uptempo rock tunes with heart-wrenching ballad - candy for the ears. Front men Robert Papst and Jörg Sieber once again proof that they are highly skilled song-writers. As usual, the band for the recordings again was joined by highly-profiled guest musicians such as bass player John Rhino Edwards (Status Quo) and drummer Charlie Morgan (Elton John). On three tracks, singer Jörg Sieber is performing duets one each with Larry Hoppen (Orleans), Jimmy Hall (Wet Willie) and Jimi Jamison (Survivor). The female lead and backing vocals were handled by Janina Dietz, lead singer of the band Janina And The Deeds. In 1988, DOMINOE released their debut single Here I Am, the title track of the cinema and TV commercial campaign for Renault ‘5’ which became a huge hit world-wide. To promote this release, the South German band was a permanent guest on TV and extensively went on tour. The single charted all over the world and even reached the #1 slot in the charts in African country Zimbabwe followed by Michael Jackson. The band split up in 1990 and re-united in 2002. DOMINOE so far have released five studio albums: Keep In Touch (1988), The Key (1990), No Silence, No Lambs 2002, The Story Is Far From Told (2008) and Naked But Dressed (2012). The international version of the album (except Germany, Austria and Switzerland) includes 3 bonus tracks, Here I Am - 2012, Let’s Talk About Life - 2012 and Naked - radio version. |
