| Description | Hailing from Umeå, Sweden - Ghamorean is the supreme combination of complex hard hitting death metal and atmospheric eerie black metal. Since the beginning in the late 90´s the band has taken innovation, variety and dynamics to a whole new level - making music for the truly dedicated. The band is a core built around founding member Andreas Båtsman whom at the mere age of 14 began the constant toil of controlling the beast Ghamorean. In 2005 Andreas asided fromsome of the duties as Samuel Persson joined as co-guitarist and music writer. In the year of 2003, the first demo sent to labels immediately resulted in a deal with dutch Karmageddon Media. The debut album "Plaguempire" was recorded in legendary Das Boot Studios (Entombed, Dismember) in late 2004 and was released in 2005. A debut displaying a young band with high ambitions. The sequel "Eon Eschatos" was recorded with sound technician Ronnie Björnström (Hate Ammo, Mortuus) in 2007 and released in 2008. A record that showed the bands musical improvement and the subtle movement towards blacker pastures. Now, proudly presenting the third offering "Terra Ruina". A unique album that differs from its predecessors in the exploration of paths and soundscapes previously unheard of. Reduced to a trio in order to reach 100% dedication, Ghamoreans intense focus spawned the staggering creation that is "Terra Ruina". With majestic drums, sharp guitars, pulsing bass and relentless vocals this uncompromised sonic assault will once and for all enthrone Ghamorean as one of the undisputed kings of extreme metal! |
