Genre Punk/Hard Core
Description Doom is a crust punk band from Birmingham, England, formed in 1987. Though short-lived, they were key to the rise of crust punk and early grindcore. They recorded for Peaceville Records and were often compared to Discharge. BBC''s John Peel was a fan. Their debut led to the 1988 album War Crimes. Total Doom, released in 1989, compiles tracks from the War Crimes LP, Police Bastard EP, and the Bury the Debt - Not the Dead split.
