Created with keyboardist Peter-John Vettese, the album marked a shift from Jethro Tull’s prog rock to a synth-driven, introspective sound. Featuring restored artwork and photos by Martyn Goddard, it served as a creative bridge to Tull’s later direction, influencing 1984’s Under Wraps and reflecting Anderson’s interest in technology and isolation.
